Black Peppercorn Bolli
Named for their distinctive shape and wavy edges (bolli means ‘stamps’ in Inglese) these traditional Veneto favourites are made with a blend of wheat and potato. Delicious with creamy cheeses, we’ve added a crackle of black pepper to the recipe — creating a wonderfully light, piquant little nibble. Perfetto!
Aperitivo Snacks
A little ‘stamp’ from Veneto
The Veneto region is home to many major landmarks and historic sites — but to get a true little taste of this famous place without travelling a mile, it’s time to turn to the simple and delicious bolli.
Made from wheat and potato by our bakers in Italy, they bubble gently as they rise, creating a light and airy nibble that’s stamped through with authentic Italian flavour, and perfect for antipasti snacking.
And topped with cheese, fresh tomato, a little pesto, some prosciutto — or whatever else takes your fancy — they’re a versatile partner to your choice of pre-dinner aperitivo tipple too.
