Produced in a small bakery in Piemonte, Sesame & Seeds Grissini are elegantly twisted by hand in the same way of our Classic and Black Olive Grissini. We’ve then generously dotted this Grissini with sesame and mixed seeds, for a nutty flavour and extra crunch. A new perfect addition to your Aperitivo moment.

Wheat flour, sesame seeds 24%, sunflower oil 5.9%, flax seeds 4.7%, poppy seeds 3.6%, sea salt, yeast, malted wheat flour.

Our Packaging

Our Grissini are packaged in a polypropylene film (European code #05) that sits within a cardboard box. The cardboard box is widely recycled in kerbside domestic collections. However, few local authorities in the UK are able to accept the film bag in the local council recycling centre, although it can be recycled alongside carrier bags in large supermarkets.

DID YOU KNOW?

Grissini originate from Turin in Italy’s northwest, and they’re believed to date back to the 17th century, when they were first baked for Duke Vittorio Amedeo II of Savoy. The duke was suffering from digestive problems and demanded something easy — but still delicious and moreish — to eat.
